WLTW Annual May Luncheon 2023
Our annual May luncheon held on May 6th was a great success! We enjoyed a spread of potluck dishes, including Terry Revis’ fabulous ambrosia and Phyllis Edgerton’s yummy banana pudding, which were a hit with everyone. It was great to see our members come together and share their favorite recipes, resulting in a delicious and varied menu that everyone enjoyed.
During the luncheon, we also held an awards ceremony to recognize some of the outstanding achievements of our members. Regent Ann Moore presented certificates and pins and reminded us of how our members are making a positive impact in our community. We congratulate all the award recipients.

WLTW Bylaws
As part of our regular review process, the Bylaws Committee will be meeting this summer to discuss potential revisions to our chapter’s standing bylaws. This important task occurs every four years to ensure that our bylaws remain current and aligned with our chapter’s goals and objectives.
The Bylaws Committee will carefully examine the existing bylaws, considering any necessary updates or amendments to better serve our members and community. This review process allows us to adapt and improve our chapter’s governance, ensuring transparency and efficiency in our operations.
Your active participation and engagement are crucial as we work together to strengthen our chapter and continue our mission of patriotism, historic preservation, and education. We encourage all members who have suggestions or input for the bylaws revisions to reach out to the Bylaws Committee chairperson, Ann Moore.

We are proud to have Kristen and Madison Bedford as our delegates, who will be attending on behalf of our chapter. Continental Congress is an exciting opportunity for our delegates to participate in discussions, workshops, and networking sessions with fellow DAR members from across the country.
