Is there an American Revolutionary War Patriot in your family tree?
Do you love history and genealogy? We want to meet you.
Welcome to the Wilmington Ladies Tea Walk Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). We are a vibrant, active, enthusiastic DAR chapter in historic New Hanover County, North Carolina. Our chapter is committed to patriotic community service, educational excellence, historic preservation, and has a rich heritage of promoting the DAR National Society’s objectives. Our organization is a nonprofit, non-political women’s volunteer service organization dedicated to honoring the patriots of the American Revolutionary War and serving our local community.
Interested in joining our chapter? We meet on the first Thursday of each month, September through May, at 6 p.m. Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence is eligible to join the DAR.

Patriotism
For more than 120 years, the Daughters of the American Revolution has carried the torch of patriotism. For Wilmington Ladies Tea Walk, NSDAR, love of country gives us purpose. Ancestors who fought for freedom is the bond that connects us. Our chapter unites to form an organization that honors our soldiers and veterans, past and present, with programs, community service, and commemoration.
